Teamwork makes the dream work!

On a regular basis, we host research teams and students from local and international organizations and universities, to collect scientific data from the island`s flora and fauna or to complete a study with us.

Marine Biodiversity Baseline Assessment: To advance the understanding of marine life around Fregate Island, in 2019 Blancpain, Coralive.org, and Fregate Island associated with BlueNomads.org, the Green Islands Foundation, the University of Seychelles, and the Seychelles Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust to establish a coral reef biodiversity baseline. The gathered data continues to serve as the basis for a long-term monitoring program of the marine area around the island.

Coral Restoration and Research Study: A joint effort between Blancpain Ocean Commitment and ourselves, led by the NGO Coralive.org. The study is the first of its kind on coral growth and resilience with Mineral Accretion Technology. Learn more about it on our YouTube Channel.
